Privacy policy

1. Who we are

The data controller is Magic Quiz, S.L., trading as Adastra (NIF B56647852), Calle Aribau 168, 1º 1ª, 08036 Barcelona, Spain. For any question about your personal data, write to elena@adastratalent.com.

2. What data we process and why

Enquiries. When you contact us through the website, by email or by booking a call, we process your name, email, company and message to reply and discuss our services. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before a contract, and our legitimate interest in answering enquiries.

Clients. We process the contact and billing details of our clients’ representatives to provide our services and invoice them. Legal basis: performance of a contract and compliance with legal obligations.

Candidates who apply. When you apply or send your CV, we process your name, email, LinkedIn profile, CV and the information in it, the role you are interested in, and notes from our conversations. We use this to assess your fit for current and future roles and to contact you about opportunities. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time, and our legitimate interest in running searches. We only share your profile with a client after discussing the specific role with you.

Candidates we approach. We may collect professional information from public sources, such as LinkedIn or professional websites, to contact you about a relevant role. Legal basis: our legitimate interest. We tell you where we found your details in our first message, and you can object at any time.

References and background checks. For finalists only, with your knowledge, and limited to what is lawful and relevant to the role.

Events. When you register for an event, we process your name, email, company and role to organise it. We share your details with an event partner only if you agree to this when you register.

Website. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies. Our hosting provider processes technical data, such as IP address and browser type, to deliver the website securely. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts.

Cookies. We use one technical cookie, set by our security provider Cloudflare, to protect our forms from spam. It expires when you close your browser and is strictly necessary, so it does not require consent. If we ever add analytics or advertising cookies, we will ask for your consent first.

3. Who we share data with

  • Client companies, as described above, only for roles you have agreed to be considered for.
  • Service providers acting on our behalf: Webflow (website and forms), Google Workspace (email and documents) and Calendly (call booking).
  • Professional advisers, such as accountants and lawyers, under confidentiality.
  • Public authorities, when required by law.

We do not sell personal data.

4. International transfers

Some of our service providers are based in the United States. These transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or on Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.

5. How long we keep data

  • Enquiries: up to 12 months after our last contact.
  • Candidate data: up to 2 years after our last contact, unless you ask us to delete it earlier.
  • Client and billing data: for as long as required by law, generally 6 years under Spanish commercial law.
  • Event registrations: up to 12 months after the event.

6. Your rights

You can request access to your data, correct it, delete it, object to or restrict its processing, receive it in a portable format, and withdraw your consent at any time. Write to elena@adastratalent.com with the subject “Data protection”. We may ask you to confirm your identity and will reply within one month.

If you believe we have not handled your data correctly, you can file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) at www.aepd.es.

7. Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, and access is limited to the people who need it for their work.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.
